How do you price?

We price every item based on research and experience. Each piece receives individual attention and is priced competitively in order to ensure both our consignors and customers are happy.

How do I know your items are authentic?

We guarantee that everything Ampersand sells is 100% authentic.  Each item is researched and verified before being sold.

How do you determine sizing and condition?

Sizing
All measurements are taken flat.  We only list sizes shown on the actual item.  Because sizing varies between designers and countries, it's best to compare our measurements with a similar item in your own closet.  Please double-check your measurements before ordering, as we do not accept returns. If you would like any additional information or have any concerns about the cut or fit of a garment, please email us before ordering at info@ampersandboutique.com.

Please keep in mind that the item you are purchasing is previously owned and/or vintage, so it may show some slight signs of wear and tear. We do our best to note any imperfections in the item’s description; however, some small flaws might go unnoticed.

Do you offer personal shopping or styling?

We offer a variety of services, including house calls, styling for events, scouting for specialty items, or helping select one-of-a-kind gifts. If you are looking for something special, please give us a call and we will happily start pulling some beauties for you! Also, we keep a Wish List, so if you are in the market for something or love certain vintage eras or designers, for instance, please let us know so we can keep a lookout just for you.

Where are you located?

Our address is 658 North Larchmont Boulevard, on the east side of the street, two doors south of Melrose Avenue. We’re just thrilled that our little corner of the world is quickly becoming a destination spot thanks to wonderful dining at the likes of Coffee + Food, Café Gratitude and Lemonade and terrific shopping at lovely boutiques like Bluebird—all within a block of Ampersand. It’s such a supportive community here, and you’ll feel that with every door you walk through.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal for online purchases.

What are the shipping times and costs?

Shipping
We ship via UPS, Monday through Friday, 1-3 business days after payment has cleared. We will send an email notification with tracking information when your package has shipped. All packages are insured directly by UPS. As a signature is required for all orders over $500, please make sure you provide the address where you will be available to sign for your order. We ship to street addresses within the continental U.S. Please contact us if you require shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada.

When do you package and deliver?

1-3 business days after payment has cleared. We ship Monday through Friday only.

What is your Return Policy?

We hope you will love everything that you order from us, but don't worry if something isn't quite right, you have 14 days to return the item in the condition it was received. All we ask is that items are returned clean and unworn. You pay the return shipping costs. We will give you a full refund on your items using the original payment method. This refund will not include any shipping charges.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

There is no sales tax charged for any purchase except those shipped within California. And within California, applicable county sales tax rates will apply.
